Half-time: Brentford 0 Bristol Rovers 3
Brentford 0 Bristol Rovers 3: On-loan striker Chris Dickson has made a dream start to his time at Bristol Rovers after grabbing two debut goals to put Paul Trollope's side firmly in the driving seat at Griffin Park this afternoon.
Trollope had made one change to the side that secured a late victory against Oldham at the Memorial Stadium last weekend by handing Dickson, who was signed on loan from Charlton on Thursday, a debut in place of Darryl Duffy.

Half-time report from Bristol Rovers
In just over ten minutes the frontman was celebrating a debut goal after latching on to a high and hopeful pass over the top by Jo Kuffour. Despite looking second-best in the chase for the ball, Dickson displayed pace and power to shrug off central defender Alan Bennett and fire in the simplest of finishes from close-range to put the Trollope's side ahead.
Dickson secured the brace and doubled Rovers advantage in the 27th minute with a classy finish after chasing down another long ball. This one was pumped over the top by defender Carl Regan and Dickson was quicker off the mark when a footrace ensued with goalkeeper Lewis Price. Dickson got their first and proceeded to produce a delicate lob over the helpless goalkeeper's head before wheeling away to celebrate for a second time.
The striker then played a inch-perfect pass to set Aaron Lescott away for a simple finish of an impressive five-man move to score the third just four minutes before the break to spark jubilant scenes from the travelling contingent packed behind Mikkel Andersen's goal.
Brentford tried to respond but their best chance was blocked by defender Byron Anthony when Steve Kabba sent Charlie McDonald through on goal - and Andy Scott's chagrin with his side's display was plain to see when he made a double substitution before the referee brought the opening period to a close.
