Great to see so many fans at the Gifford Stadium
I CAN'T believe it's been a whole week since I last wrote my column and the sun is still shining and we haven't seen any rain. Although I'm sure I will have just jinxed us and it will be lashing it down with rain and thunder and lightning as you read this. With the Queen's Jubilee this weekend and an extended bank holiday we are almost guaranteed rain.
I'm incredibly jealous of all the street parties and concerts that have been organised to celebrate. The life of a female footballer is, unfortunately, not a glamorous one, we have training tomorrow and then a trip up the M5 on Sunday for a rearranged league match, so I won't be able to fit in much celebrating.
To be honest, I'm pleased we have a game this weekend after losing to Arsenal on Wednesday night. It was a disappointing performance from the team as a whole and it's great to have a chance so soon to try and put things right.
There has been a lot of attention around Arsenal Ladies recently. They have been under quite a bit of pressure after only winning one game in their last four and, unfortunately, we received the backlash. They have an excellent team with some great individual players and their set up is something that all Super League clubs should be aspiring to follow.

We attracted a crowd of more than 1,000 people with many of them painting their faces blue and joining the 'Smurf Army'. It was a great atmosphere and I'd like to thank everyone that came down. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed the game and will be back for our next home game.
The only one negative about the game being on ESPN was going home and insisting on watching it from start to finish at about 11pm.
Watching a game straight after playing in it is never a great idea, especially after losing, but I did anyway.
With all the media attention focussing around the men's European Championships, the women's side also have some important fixtures coming up. I've been selected in the squad for our upcoming European Qualifiers against Holland and Slovenia, and even though I've been involved in the squad for a number of years now, it's always a great honour to be selected for your country.
Rachel Yankey, who was in inspired form for Arsenal on Wednesday night is set to equal the record for the most international caps, which is an exceptional achievement. I'm not quite as close to 119, but I've got less than 100 to go.
I hope everyone enjoys their Jubilee weekend and I'd like to personally thank the Queen for giving us an extra two days off.
