Gran wins £1,000 shopping spree
A WITHYWOOD grandmother got her New Year off to a great start by winning a £1,000 shopping spree in a Bristol mall.
Deborah Roebuck has been looking forward to splashing the cash at The Galleries shopping centre in Broadmead, where she won the special Christmas prize.

The grandmother of two scooped the prize by entering a simple competition featured in the Centres' annual Christmas magazine.
Deborah, who had four weeks to make her purchases at any of The Galleries' 80 retail outlets, collected her prize from the city centre mall on Saturday.

Deborah said she was shocked to discover the shopping spress was hers.
She said: "I couldn't believe it when I found out I had won as I never win anything."
She added that she was looking forward to spending the money wisely on her family.
She said: "I have two sons and a granddaughter and a grandchild on the way so this truly couldn't have come at a better time."
The Galleries shopping centre has recently celebrated its 21st anniversary at the heart of the city's thriving shopping scene.
The city centre mall has also recently welcomed a number of new high-street names including international furniture company BoConcept, outdoor clothing brand Trespass and value store 99p Stores.
