Vandals returned to the Memorial Stadium last night and plastered the South Stand with graffiti.

The new tags and slogans were also painted onto the nearby toilets and pasty stand.

On Wednesday night similar tags were sprayed onto the Bristol Rovers ground's gates - some were even painted onto a war memorial.

The main tag used shows a laurel wreath with the letters "A.D.A" inside it, and the words "Bristol City" underneath.

Rovers, Bristol City and Bristol Rugby have all condemned the vandalism – and a City supporters' group has offered to pay for the cost of cleaning it off.

“Jeremy, maybe you should learn basic spelling and punctuation, and correct use of the "CAPSLOCK" key, before questioning the intelligence of others.”

    “As a Jock, I don't give a damn about the Rovers/City nonsense.

I also don't gove a damn about those who try and tie the actions of one, maybe two, adolescents into the conduct of everyone who wears whatever colour shirt. Try Rangers Vs Celtic for a real lesson in partisan idiocy...

That said, spraying a war memorial is a pure insult and I'd gladly take the community service in exchange for letting those responsible know just how I feel about the sanctity of the memory of the Glorious Dead.”

Now that takes some doing; hats off, Sir!”

“FFS! The Supporters Trust & OTIB has been collecting money for the clean up of what these fools have done. In fact I paid my bit last night. The point I'm making is that if these idiots had access to the fans website they would have known that they were only wasting their own fans money and (probably) not done it again. Mind you, quite clearly not the brightest light in the street are they? Either that or this is a deliberate attempt to tarnish City's rep. As for you 'worried, Bristol' stop posting on here and get back to your job councillor.”

“Now that we have a government in power who are willing to take a lead in ensuring that this lost generation quickly wake up to manners and values opposed to the last government which would have gave them ice cream, sent them on holidays overseas and plastered areas with funds only for do-gooders and human rights plonkers to make a case out for these (sorry artists - not). Maybe when they're caught their first job will be to remove all of this with a tooth brush, 300 hours community service on their hands and knees, clearing undergrowth and encouraged to join the forces to learn some self respect.

We'll now see what the Social Workers comment about this post... I'll start them off:

British Values, what planet are you from? These young people are just trying to express themselves, they should be left to learn, encourgaged, pillars of the community and given funds. One needs to look at their background, their experiences and what is available to them. I became a Social Worker just to stop people like you from standing in the way of these young artists, they are tomorrows leaders, this is what I have invested so much of my time to live to see these wonderful results. I am a labour supporter and we've finally reached a breakthrough. This art should stay and more should be encouraged!

No Social Worker, politically correct think tanks, labour supporters and flower power, sandle wearing, straw hat style people.

These are idiots who need to join Lads Army and taught British Values!”
