Grace Holwell
GRACE Holwell, the former manageress of Pages in Broadmead Arcade, has died at the age of 88. Grace was born in Bristol on June 29, 1924.
A very well-known and respected lady, from the 1960s to the 1980s Grace was the proud manageress of Pages female fashion shop that used to be in Broadmead.

Grace was married to Eric for more than 60 years.
He was a retired train driver and officer of the St John Ambulance, who passed away four years ago.

The devoted couple, who lived all their married lives in Allison Road, enjoyed their retirement years, going on coach trips around the country and spending the majority of their free time at their caravan in West Bay, Dorset.
They also belonged to many clubs and organisations, including the Royal British Legion Dundry, and enjoyed raising money for charities.
Grace is survived by her son Keith, daughter-in-law Julia and granddaughter Nichola.
Keith, 63, said: "Mum will be greatly missed. She was a determined and strong person who tried to be positive at all times."
Grace passed away suddenly on February 24.
Her funeral will be held at South Bristol Crematorium at 2pm on Monday, March 11.
All family and friends are welcome.
