Since the 1970s, slow cooker technology hasn’t changed much; most still operate on the same principle of using electric coils that wrap around the inside of a the cooker in order to provide direct, constant temperature that can be adjusted depending on how long you want the meal to be cooked. These days however, a much broader range is available on the market. Other great winter warmers are homemade soups that are the perfect solution to both hot suppers and lunches.
