Gloucestershire trainer Jonjo O'Neill lands a double at Chepstow
Jonjo O'Neill took the training honours at Chepstow with a 64-1 double through Carnival Town and Supreme Keano in very testing conditions.
Carnival Town was one of several mudlarks to score, in the Jenkinsons Caterers Beginners Chase, having tried to duck out on the second circuit.
Noel Fehily did well to get the eight-year-old back into the race and sent him 14 lengths clear of Tank Top, ridden by Sam Thomas for Cotswolds trainer Tom George.
O'Neill struck again, with Tony McCoy on Supreme Keano, carrying the colours of J P McManus, in the Jenkinsons Caterers Chase.
The seven-year-old came out on top by one-and-three-quarter lengths in a rare battle with Notabotheronme, partnered by Richard Johnson for Minehead trainer Philip Hobbs.
Jaunty Journey provided a 50-1 upset for the Lambourn team of Carl Llewellyn in Division one of the Jenkinsons Caterers Maiden Hurdle.
Robert Butler sent the six-year-old into an early lead and the dour stayer finished five lengths clear of Bally Sands, under Matty Roe, with Irish raider Mask Of Darkness a disappointing third.
Radmores Revenge, under Aiden Coleman, plodded on to a nose victory over Mr Mackay in the second leg of the maiden event for John O'Shea's Westbury-on-Severn yard. King Fontaine started at 9-4 on to take the prize for Ditcheat trainer Paul Nicholls, but Ruby Walsh had to settle for fourth on the six-year-old behind Normally, ridden by Johnson.
Dontpaytheferryman showed his appreciation of the heavy going with a comfortable 11-length win for David Evans in the Jenkinsons Caterers Juvenile Novices Claiming Hurdle.
But Dontpaytheferryman did not return to Evans, after being claimed by Alan Dickman for £10,000.
