Gloucestershire Schools reached the quarter-finals of the ESFA Premier League Under-16 Inter County Trophy with a 2-1 victory over Berkshire Schools at Reading.

Left-back Ashley Bowle (Hanham) gave Gloucestershire a fifth-minute lead and Tyrone Rhoden (Bedminster Down) made it 2-0 just after half-time. Berkshire scored a penalty with 15 minutes left to set up a tense finish.
