Gloucester man dies in flood mudslide
A 27-year-old construction worker has been killed in a mudslide brought on by the torrential rain.
The man, from Cheltenham, was working on a trench at a site in Stroud when it collapsed, burying him under tonnes of mud.
The incident happened at 5pm on Friday. Today fire and rescue teams are still trying to remove the body of the man from the site.
A health and safety investigation is also underway.
