Gloucester grab Grubb ahead of their busy fixture schedule
Third-placed Gloucester City have signed Dean Grubb, from Weston-super-Mare, and he goes straight into the squad for their home game against Cambridge City.
Grubb, a former Bristol City youngster who can play wide or tucked in behind the strikers, is seen by manager David Mehew as the ideal player to help consolidate their league position.
"We have four games in the next nine days, so I needed to bring someone in to boost the squad," said Mehew.
Mark Richards and Matt Rose return today after neither were available for Tuesday's home win over Evesham United, while striker Jack Pitcher and defender Tom Hamblin both face late fitness checks on knee injuries.

Clevedon Town, who find themselves at the foot of the table despite taking five points from their last three games, start a run of three home games – beginning against Rugby today.
"The effort and commitment put in by the players over the last three games has been terrific and I am looking to take nine points from these three home games," said manager Nick Tucker.
Lee Molyneaux returns to the side, but Chris Collins is still ruled out with a hamstring injury.
