Whether it’s in ballet or rugby, wind band or jazz dance, theatre or fencing, your daughter will be nurtured by professionals in their field at The Red Maids’ Junior School. And that’s just the extra-curricular activities.

We want your daughter to find and develop her talents, so we have created a stimulating, broad-based curriculum for the girls including exciting new subjects like Mandarin. Outdoor education is important too. Junior Red Maids learn to climb, abseil, canoe and bivouac overnight. Your daughter will soon find out it’s cool to join in at Red Maids.

Due to popular demand, last year we opened two new classrooms along with our fantastic new facilities that include the new IT suite, the central library, the music centre, a magnificent art studio and also a spacious new hall.

Every girl is taught by each member of staff so we all know each other and this contributes to the family community we work so hard to promote.

We capitalise on our close links with the senior school. Senior staff and girls enjoy working with the Junior Red Maids and our girls love visiting the senior school’s science labs. They use the sports hall on a daily basis.

All Junior Red Maids are guaranteed a place in Year 7 at The Red Maids’ School (conditions apply), so you can be confident there will be a smooth transition to the next stage of your daughter’s education.
