Gary Powell throws down challenge to Tytherington Rocks players
GARY Powell is confident his Tytherington Rocks squad can cope without the suspended Justin Bishop – and has challenged those who fill in for the hitman to take their chances.
Striker Bishop begins a five-match ban for two sendings off when Tytherington host Lydney Town in Division One West tomorrow.
And, while boss Powell admits he will miss his forward, he believes he has the players to make up for his absence.
"Justin's a huge loss, because he's such a big player for us," said Powell. "But we have got a really strong squad and there are players who are capable of slotting in straightaway. It is up to them to take their chances.

"We've got lads like Alex Chapman and Jack Smythe, who are more than capable of playing in the same position, while we've also got Joe White and Danny Coombes.
"We are stacked with options but, at the same time, Justin is a key player for us and he really complements Toby Colbourne well up front."
Third-placed Tytherington, who last played three weeks ago, are now 13 points adrift of leaders Brimscombe & Thrupp, albeit with a game in hand, but Powell is determined to keep fighting for every point.
"We want to finish in the top two and I believe we've got a good enough squad to do that, but in terms of winning the league again, we're running out of games now."
