Scores of car owners in Totterdown have had their tyres 'darted' by a gang of teenagers in recent weeks.

Police suspect they are using a dart or compass point to prick the wall of the tyres, causing a slow puncture.

Up to 40 residents have told Avon and Somerset police their vehicles have been targeted, but it is thought many more incidents have gone unreported.

Tyre fitters in the area have seen an increase in tyres needing to be replaced after being 'darted' and in some cases slashed.
