The Gang Show is for everyone, not just Scouts
I NOTICED the letter in Saturday's Post from Peter Duncan, chief Scout, headlined "Come and join the gang at Scout show", and wish to echo his comments.
I know the huge amount of time and dedication that the young people of this great city put into the Bristol Gang Show.
Although the show is by the Scouts, it is not just a show for the Scouts. Far from it. The show is a variety of song, dance and sketches designed to be enjoyed by all.
Unfortunately, there was no show last year, but now the boys and girls (and their leaders) are back and seeking the support and encouragement of the good people of Bristol.
So, if you are looking for an evening (or afternoon) of action- packed entertainment, then the Bristol Gang Show will definitely be for you.
I urge readers to support the young people of the city, and the volunteers supporting them, by visiting Bristol Hippodrome this week to see the quite professional Bristol Gang Show.
I hope to see you there.
Councillor Royston Griffey, Deputy Lord Mayor of Bristol.
The Gang Show is at the Hippodrome from Wednesday, February 18, to Saturday, February 21. For more information, call 0117 302 3333.
