excitement was as a result of The Felton Flyers (Felton U11 Football

Team) hosting their first match for the Saturday Bristol Youth

League. As hosts, they were determined to stamp their mark in the

league and where better to start than with a home game against last

years reigning champions, The Foxes!

Felton

FC held their own during the first half and were ecstatic when one of

their star players, Finlay Ford scored The Flyers first goal putting

pressure on The Foxes. Unfortunately despite the early lead, The

Foxes came out in the second half with a flurry of goals securing

their lead and upon the final whistle The Foxes had stormed to a 6-1

win. Despite the score, everyone agreed that this had been a

fantastic experience for the Felton lads, some of whom had never

played a match before. Speaking to the Flyers manager after the

match, Dom said "All the lads surpassed my expectations and they

played the best game of football I have seen from them. I felt like

a proud dad of 9 children this morning, the opening game for our Club

could not have gone better".

Felton

FC only formed late last September following an extremely popular

response to a weeks free football training at the local park in the

summer holidays. Felton FC, the brain child of Dom Ford a local

parent was instantly welcomed by the young Feltonians and during the

course of a year, Felton FC have gathered pace growing steadily. The

club now boasts 4 coaches, a couple of assistant coaches, 3 training

days per week and a training ground, club house and match ground fit

for any respectable football club. If your child would like to join

a rapidly expanding Club please contact Dominic on 07909 527 426 or

Catherine on 07713 234 064 for more information. We are always

looking for new stars to join our teams!
