Weymouth make the long trip to Barrow – who have won five of their last six home games – without suspended duo Santos Gaia and Chris McPhee.

They both picked up their fifth booking of the campaign in last weekend's 3-1 home defeat to Wrexham.

There is a further worry over the fitness of winger James Coutts (hamstring) and stand-in boss Alan Lewer has been forced to bring in versatile defender Jordan Collins on loan from Cambridge United.

With players now in short supply since Weymouth loaned out Michael Malcolm to Crawley a fortnight ago, the Terras' bench is likely to include three youth team players alongside Josh Webb and keeper Richard Barnard.

Weymouth: Knowles, Sandwith, Mawer, Doe, Collins, Williams, Robinson, Coutts, Cutler, Beavon, Joseph-Dubois, Barnard, Webb, Frampton, Reiffer, Tribe.

Salisbury City striker Matt Tubbs completed his loan move to AFC Bournemouth yesterday with a view to the move being made permanent when the transfer window opens next month.

Whites manager Nick Holmes insisted that if the deal becomes permanent the club would be looking for a fee for the former Bolton player.

Tubbs joined Salisbury from Dorchester Town four years ago, scored over 100 goals for the club, and was one of main reasons for their successive promotions to the Blue Square Premier.

This latest loan move now means that three players, Robbie Matthews, Andy Sandell and now Tubbs, have left Salisbury in a bid to relieve the financial problems the club are experiencing.

Holmes has also placed defenders Scott Bartlett, Matt Robinson and Aaron Cook on the transfer but they are all in the squad for today's home game against Northwich Victoria.

They are still missing goalkeeper Ryan Clarke, defender Tim Bond and midfielder Michael Fowler, while defender Djoumin Sangare, who was red carded for a professional foul in last Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Mansfield, is banned .

New signing, 18-year-old Rory Hill, has joined Salisbury on loan from Gillingham and he is included in the squad.

Salisbury City (from): Bittner, Ciohessy, Bartlett, Bass, Dutton, Herring, Davies, D Clarke, Sinclair, Griffin, Ruddick, Cook, Maher, Robinson, Hill.

Manager Jim Harvey threatened to put at least six players on the transfer list after the 3-1 defeat to Altrincham last Saturday.

He will be looking for an improved display in the home clash with Mansfield. At least their injury problems have improved with only Adriano Rigoglioso, Mark Preece, Curtis McDonald and Mark Ashford not available.

After making a good start to the season, Forest Green have slumped to 21st spot and have not won since August 30.

Forest Green Rovers(from): Burton, Robinson, Kempson, Clist, Jones, Gill, Symons, Stonehouse, Smith, Low Mohamed, Mangan, Thomas, Afful, Plass, Molyneaux, Pass
