BSA Coaching Officer David Lee started playing softball in 1989, as an extension to his social life while keeping fit.

He became pitcher for Great Britain in 1999 and represented them over an eight-year period winning the World cup and three European Championships.

Although now retired from internationals he recently won the National Championships with his tournament team the Dragons and was voted Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the event.

His passion for the sport is now channelled to improving the take up of the sport both locally and nationally through coaching, mentoring and youth development initiatives.
