Fun and games for all the family
AN afternoon of free family entertainment will take place in Redcatch Park, Knowle, on Sunday, June 24, from 1pm to 5pm.
The Diamond Jubilee Community Celebration is being held by Friends of Redcatch Park and will be opened by Bristol's Lord Mayor Peter Main.
Entertainment will include Egyptian dancers, a Scout band, Morris dancers, Maypole dancing, a puppet and magic show, circus skills and outdoor adventure play.
There will be 28 charity and craft stalls, children's rides, candy floss, ice cream, a barbecue, cream teas, smoothies, Caribbean food and a tuck shop.

There will also be a dog show, a dog agility event and a youth football tournament.
Croquet trials and tennis coaching are also on offer and side shows, a fire tender, a police van, and Dr Bike will attend to give bikes a free service.
