Fun had by all at Bristol street party
Families and businesses joined together for the fourth annual Stapleton Road street fair to enjoy live music, food and sport.
Despite the damp weather, crowds of residents supported the free event, which has become one of Bristol's biggest street parties.
Only a couple of attractions had to be called off because of the rain but there was still a packed programme ranging from poetry and street gardening to art and music workshops, wacky bikes and a performance by the Desperate Men theatre company.
Stapleton Road was closed to traffic for the fair, which was organised by the Love Easton group of residents and organisations, with Bristol City Council's neighbourhood arts team.
Visitors also put their names on a giant inflatable football as part of Bristol's call to "back the bid" to host World Cup football matches in the city in 2018.
