Freeways charity raises money for Cancer Research
A CHARITY that supports people with learning disabilities in Bristol has raised £550 for Cancer Research.
A cheque was recently presented to Cancer Research at Freeways' head office in Abbots Leigh.
The charity celebrated 25 years in operation during 2012 and held 25 fundraising events during the year.
Both service users and staff held fun days and quiz events in their local communities at the Filton Social and District Club, the Air Balloon pub and various pub quiz venues in Bristol and North Somerset.
