Free workshops for children about keeping fish
A Bristol pet store is holding free workshops to teach children all about how to keep fish.
The half-term activities are being held at Pets at Home in Eastgate Centre on May 26 and 28 from 2pm.
Store manager Russell Hardyman- Richards said: "The workshops have been designed to increase awareness and knowledge of how to look after fish as well as being something fun and interesting for children to do over the half-term holidays.
"We regularly hold workshops at our store and they always prove extremely popular. Our store teams are trained to advise on the best way to care for all kinds of pets and through these workshops we can pass on this knowledge to customers and anyone interested in buying a pet.
"If we teach future pet owners at an early age what it means to own a pet, we can help ensure that pets lead happy, healthy lives."
Children can also take part in the store's picnic sessions, which take place every weekday afternoon at 4pm, and at 2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
At picnic time, children can watch the pets being fed.

“That's strange as my sister got some fish and a tank from that store. She was given flawed advice and the fish died.”
