Holidaymakers planning to fly from Bristol International Airport to the Channel Islands for Easter should make sure they have medical insurance.

The NHS has paid for treatment when travellers fell ill while on holiday on Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, and Sark until now but the healthcare arrangements are about to change.

Anyone travelling to the Islands will be required to pay for medical treatment from April 1 through insurance.

For further information on charges call 0207 210 4850 or email dhmail@dh.gsi.gov.uk.
