1st Division

Buccs Whiz 10 The Forks 11

Middle of the table Forks batted and fielded well in the first and second innings to close Buccs Whiz out. But Buccs Whiz, in their battle to stay out of the relegation zone, came back with some solid fielding to shut the Forks out consistently. Buccs Whiz managed to chip away throughout the rest of the game with some decent batting but the Forks held them at bay to win by one run.

Grandslammers 8 Real Flyers 15

Solid batting and scoring in the first inning where Real Flyers drove in five runs combined with a strong fielding performance in the first two innings that prevented Grandslammers from scoring put Real Flyers in the driving seat for the rest of this game. Grandslammers were forced to play catchup throughout the match and never quite got there.

2nd Division

Orange Crushers 17 The Force 27

On a night when the pitchers from both teams struggled The Force produced a couple of good hits at key times to come out on top. Orange started well in the first two innings and it looked like their good form of recent weeks was going to continue but a massive batting innings by The Force in the third innings put Orange on the back foot and they never really got back into the game after this. Solid defensive play by The Force in the fifth innings which produced a shut out put paid to any real chance Orange had of taking the match and the game was called an innings early due to failing light.

Imperial Sliders 7 Desperadoes 6

The top of the table clash in the second division saw the leaders consolidate their position on top with a one-run victory over second placed Desperadoes. The game was neck and neck for the first two innings then solid defending by Desperadoes stopped Sliders scoring in the third and fourth innings and saw Desperadoes start the fifth innings with a three run lead. The pressure was on Sliders and they responded by closing out Desperadoes for the next three innings and slowly but surely chipped away at the required runs to come out on top.

3rd Division
