Forest Green Rovers travelled North for their Blue Square Premier Division game at Barrow with renewed optimism, after sealing their first win in 12 against Ashford in the FA Cup this week.

Despite their good start to the season Forest Green have since slithered down the table to find themselves in danger of relegation.

They are without Paul Stonehouse and Alex Lawless (hamstrings), Mark Preece and and Curtis McDonald both have groin injuries while Jonathan Smith and second string goalkeeper Terry Burton were both left behind suffering from stomach bugs.

They are also still without Ben Ashford, who has been sidelined for some time through injury.

"Unfortunately things are still not going our way with injuries but we have striker Mike Symons back in the squad after missing the two Ashford Town Cup games as he was cup tied," manager Jim Harvey said.

Forest Green's FA Cup first round tie against Team Bath at Twerton Park has been switched to Sunday November 9th.

Forest Green Rovers(from): Robinson, Gill, Jones, Molyneaux, Fowler, Mohamed, Clist, Afful, Symons, Rigoglioso, Thomas, Platt.

Five Weymouth players face fitness tests ahead of today's trip to table-toppers Kettering Town (3pm).

Adam Bygrave, Santos Gaia and Sam Cutler are all struggling with illness while Scott Doe and Cameron Mawer are both recovering from ankle knocks.

The Poppies have won their last five games and currently lead the Blue Square Premier table by two points. But Weymouth are not fazed by the task ahead despite last Saturday's shock FA Cup exit against AFC Hornchurch.
