A food fair takes place at Cabot Circus in Bristol this Sunday to launch a week of celebrations for the shopping centre's first anniversary.

Restaurants, cafes and delicatessens throughout Cabot Circus and Quakers Friars will be taking part from 11am to 5pm.

Brasserie Blanc will be offering canapés and tastings of specially selected French cheeses, while on the other side of the piazza Carluccio's will be hosting risotto making classes and taster sessions.

The Italian delights are set to continue at Piccolino, where pizza, pasta and truffle samples will be on offer, together with vouchers and an ice cream cart.

Further opportunities to taste a wide range of food and drink will also be available at Harvey Nichols' food market and its Second Floor Restaurant, as well as the renowned Chandos Deli.

All visitors to the fair will be able to enter a prize draw to win a fantastic range of prizes. These include a family ticket for Showcase Cinema de Lux, sushi classes provided by Yo! Sushi, a dinner party cooked in your home by Simon Xavier from Frankie & Benny's and Sunday brunch for two at Harvey Nichols, complete with champagne and live jazz.

Cabot Circus centre director Richard Belt said: "The food fair will give visitors the chance to sample the range of food and drink available and is certainly set to get those taste buds tingling."
