Fitness guru gives away access
A BRISTOL fitness expert has pledged to make the city healthier with a series of free giveaways.
Personal trainer Rich Lucas said he has been inspired by a damning report on obesity levels in the area, which are said to be costing South Gloucestershire NHS £56.9 million.
Mr Lucas, 32, from Yate, said he wanted to reduce the damning figures and ensure Bristol and South Gloucestershire residents don't sit back and become fat statistics.
He said: "Reading the report really saddens me. Being overweight can have so many negative effects on your health and being a Bristol resident and weight loss specialist I've decided that I will do my utmost to help improve those figures."

Mr Lucas added: "Membership to the site is the first of many giveaways I'll be doing to simply help people who have tried everything but still can't seem to get the weight off in a healthy way. It's my way of giving back to the people of Bristol and South Gloucestershire."
