Firm fined for Bristol waste spillage

A company has been fined £1,500 after waste from one of its vehicles spilled onto the Avon Ring Road.

South Gloucestershire Council took Bristol Waste Management to court after the incident on the A4174 last April.

The firm was ordered to pay the £1,500 fine, £1,000 towards the council's clean-up costs and £1,020 legal fees.
