Firefighters rescue man from his Lexus after collision on A38 in Redhill

FIREFIGHTERS used lifting equipment to rescue a male driver in his 40s who had become stuck in his car after a collision.

Four fire appliances from Temple, Blagdon and Chew Magna fire stations attended the A38 at Redhill at 9.15am this morning.

The collision involved one Lexus car, which was on its side.

The man, whose injuries are not thought to be serious, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
