“The cow & her calf were actually chased into the swollen river by an out of control dog, that should have been on a lead !
The cow was rescued by the fire fighters after spending nearly 3 hours in a flooded river unfortuantely her calf was not so lucky and is still missing presumed drowned.
This whole situation was caused completely by the irresponsible behaviour of the dog owner who should have never entered a field containing livestock without complete control of their dog, has cost the life of 1 calf and wasted untold ammounts of time & money effecting the rescue.”

“It must be quite depressing for a journalist to have to write this sort of thing. Woodward and Bernstein it's not.”
