“to flowergirly Labour member,
if you are a filton labour member, did you not go to the labour branch meeting Thursday. invites have gone missing from the branch secretary, roger hutchinson, many times for those out of favour. perhaps you too are out of favour then and they were keen to talk behind members backs again too. members who do good are left out so plotting can take place.
If you read the date of the article it was published on the day of your branch meeting not friday.
if you are a filton Labour member as you claim, could you post your comments on the bullying of a labour councillor within your membership, as its all very well to claim chinese whispers, but does your silence on the actions of councillor hutchinson suggests support for him and think there is nothing wrong with type of treatment within? its funny how when these things keep coming to light labour members keep tight lipped all the time isnt it. we need more like this councillor to break ranks within your membership. all you read is the odd comment defending filton labour for the indefensible. you cant have it both ways. why not speak out on that? divided loyalties between whats right and to labour is becoming sickening.”

“Silence from Cuncillors Roger Hutchinson and Brian Mead...but they can happily discuss residents at meetings...best start talking about them then to anyone who will listen about the poor Filton Labour performance...”

“No comment from Cllr Brian Mead? Only to be expected really when its his close colleague again accused of poor behaviour isn't it
I though a chair was supposed to uphold the rules but then again this group are making them up as they toddle along to their masonic lodge otherwise known as the ratepayers arm...I really do think it should be renamed to...The Labour Brothers arms dont you?”

“Now we now the result, which is "no comment" from the branch chair Cllr Brian Mead.
Now we know how Filton Labour deal with such matters by sweeping them under the carpet, are people going to continue to give them any type of support in Filton?.
Lets hope other members unite and force out those who are treating honest decent people in this manner. The inherint behaviour by the old school Labour membership has forced out a decent upstanding member of the community because they dont want to work for the community, just themselves! Chair of council Adam Monk, should order his party to carry out an investigation, please stop sitting on the fence!
Full story here, action must be taken and a full investigation by outside Labour officials!

“Filton voters deserve an explanation from the Filton Labour party meeting, as to what has happened to cause a brand new councillor to leave. What rotten apples are spoling it for everyone else?
The situation has surely become untenable for whoever is the cause of this latest resignation. Change must be demanded.”
