'Fiddler on the roof' jailed
A CONMAN who duped a pensioner out of his £360,000 life savings by persuading him that his roof needed repairs has been jailed for four years and eight months.
Charles Casey, 21, of Rose Meadow View traveller site, off South Liberty Lane in Bedminster, targeted the 90-year-old at his Berkshire home in 2010, a court heard yesterday. He admitted fraud.
