Febry's performances inspire his Chipping Sodbury team-mates
CHIPPING Sodbury Under-16s are top of Section C of the Under-17 League after a couple of comprehensive victories in the space of four days.
Adam Febry starred with the bat in both games, scoring 60 not out in their 84-run win over Bradley Stoke – in which Matt Bethell took 4-11 for the victors.
Febry then scored 54 as his side, earlier inspired by 4-6 in 19 balls from Anjou Augustin, beat Winterbourne B by 76 runs. Ryan Liddington top-scored with 57 in the win over Winterbourne.
Bedminster beat Shirehampton by 39 runs in a Section E match that doubled up as the sides' Don Brooks Plate quarter-final clash. Bedminster batted first and scored 104-9, with George Davey scoring 55, before they bowled Shirehampton out for 64.

Jordan Coombes starred with both bat and ball as Knowle enjoyed a six-wicket win over Pak Bristolians in the quarter-finals of the Urban Windows Under-15 Knockout Cup.
He took 5-7 from three overs as Pak Bristolians were bowled out for 60, with Josh O'Hara taking 3-12. Coombes then scored 24 not out as Knowle reached 61-4.
Matthews Atkins took 5-2 in 16 balls as Downend A bowled Pak Bristolians out for 31 in their Under-15 League Section C match.
Downend batted first, scoring 127-8, with Deon Buckley-Miles top-scoring with 28 and Ishtiaq taking 4-13 from his four overs.
But Pak Bristolians' reply never got going, Matthew Gowling (3-5) removing both openers for ducks, before Atkins claimed his five-wicket haul. George Haynes also chipped in, taking 1-0 from one over.
Also in Section C, Prevan Nayanah-Rajh retired not out on 50 as Bishopston A enjoyed a 41-run win over Hanham. Bishopston then enjoyed a 103-run win over Carsons/Mangotsfield, with Joe Cook taking 6-8 as Carsons were bowled out for 31.
In Section D, Knowle were 131-run winners over Twyford House. Sam Britton (51 not out) and Tyler Anderson (50 not out) paved the way for Knowle's 161-4, before Josh O'Hara took 2-3 from one over and Liam O'Hara 2-3 from one over as Twyford House were bowled out for 30.
In Section A, William Pluse took 2-3 from one over as Chipping Sodbury bowled Winterbourne A out for 57. Sodbury knocked off the runs for the loss of four wickets.
Mitch Vardy scored 53 as Winterbourne A (107-4) and Hambrook (107-6) tied their Section A match.
Anthony Bishop took 4-15 as Frenchay B attempted to defend their score of 47 all out against Winterbourne B – but his efforts proved in vain as Winterbourne won by four wickets.
