Fatboy Slim to perform at Motion Bristol this weekend
Big Beat veteran Fatboy Slim is to headline Bristol clubbing venue Motion this weekend, performing to a crowd of 1,500.
The Right Here, Right Now star and mastermind of Praise You, DJ legend Norman Quentin Cook will take to the stage on Saturday night.

The sold-out performance, one of Motion’s fastest-selling shows, forms part of the venue’s annual underground music season, In:Motion, which runs between September and December.
Converted skate park Motion is open the whole year round, but for the past two years it has in addition hosted In:Motion, a series of multi-roomed shows which attracts revellers in their thousands.

In addition to Fatboy Slim the 2012 line-up has included Public Enemy, Sven Vath, Seth Troxler, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Kerri Chandler and Moodymann.
On Saturday, Fatboy Slim will take to the stage alongside Doorly, Tom Staar and No Artificial Colours. Meanwhile Lee Pattison and Thrilogy will be among those performing in other rooms within the venue.
A spokesperson for Motion said: “We're buzzing to get such a legend of the electronic music scene down to Bristol.
“Norman has been a pioneer of dance music for a few years now, and someone that we should have booked a long time ago!”
