Family pays tribute to Bristol crash victim
Relatives have paid tribute to a teenager killed in a car crash in Radstock.
Chesney Willcox, who was 17, died when a Vauxhall Astra in which he was a passenger was involved in a collision with a Toyota Corolla in Somervale Road at 5pm on Tuesday.
Chesney lived and grew up in Paulton and was known and loved by many in the community. He went to Somervale secondary school and was attending Norton Radstock College.
His family paid tribute to Chesney, who they said was always full of life.
In a statement the family said: "Like most 17-year-olds he loved spending time with his friends, taking the mickey out of all he knew.
"No matter what the situation was, Chesney would always put a smile on everyone's face.
"As a typical 17-year-old, Chesney loved tinkering with cars and spent many hours working on his own car, a Mark 3 Golf.
"Chesney spent many happy hours with his family who loved him dearly.
"His laughter, wit and constant smile will be missed by many.
"He was a friend to everyone, someone who could be relied upon and will remain in the hearts and memories of all who knew him."
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in connection with the crash and has been released on police bail.
