Families enjoyed an afternoon of free activities at the annual Crow Lane fun day in Henbury.

The event in Barnard's Park was organised by local residents as part of a summer programme in the area. Opened by Bristol's deputy mayor, Brenda Hugill, it included a bouncy castle, woodcarving workshops, music and competitions. PCSO Abby Elliott-Taylor demonstrated balloon modelling and colleague Mike Bettel dressed as a clown.

“a great day and more to come with a christmas event for the children and plans to be made for an event for henburys senior residents. there are a few that have tried to give henbury a bad name but there are many more to prove it is a good place to live and we will carry on doing so”
