Tom is no stranger to TV. In 2010 he appeared as an adviser on retail expert Mary Portas' BBC Two shop makeover series Mary Queen of Shops and then on the judging panel for BBC One's Turn Back Time – The High Street with Gregg Wallace and Juliet Gardiner.
A year earlier he made the BBC Four programme In Search of the Perfect Loaf.

“Shame it was shot so badly and edited like a pop promo.
Personally I found them irredeemably smug.”

“These guys are creative and full of culinary panache (that's a good thing). They had some bold moves that were new to me (also from chef-world) and I enjoyed the show format, pie contest, and their showmanship & snappy patter. Can't wait for more, boys !!!”
