The Bristol Post

BEING a regular reader of The Post I was interested to see Marion Webb's views on Christmas Steps.

What disappointed me, though, was that she made no mention of the horrible office building (Centre Gate) that was somehow allowed to block the best view of the Steps.

This was when many good ideas for buildings in Bristol had somehow vanished from sight.

Why was this terrible building allowed?

I would be interested to know where Marion worked at Coventry and Jeffs. Could it, by any chance, be at St George's Road?
