Extended deadline for jubilee parties
SOUTH Gloucestershire people who are planning a street party to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee in June have been given an extra month to apply to close their road.
The council has extended the deadline for applications to April 30, meaning residents have four more weeks in which to submit their plans.
