Richard Fey is relishing his first stint in management as he attempts to catapult Cadbury Heath to better times.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper is among a clutch of players poised to make debuts in tomorrow's home clash with Bradford Town.

His other task is to serve as assistant to boss Lee Knighton and Fey said: "Expectations here are high; our floodlights are in place and we should have a 250-seat stand and new changing rooms by the end of the season.

"We have also signed six new players so the ambition is there."

Fey joins former Frome Town team-mates Toby Colbourne and Adamo Missiato, plus Chris Astley (ex-Welton) and Mark Thomas (ex-Odd Down) in making their bows tomorrow.

Almondsbury UWE could have an intriguing addition to their squad for the trip to play Oldland Abbotonians.

Attacking midfielder Jack Sealey features as a full-time professional with Hong Kong FC, who are managed by his dad and one-time Bristol Rovers player Tony Sealey.

UWE boss Danny Phillips explained: "Jack's season is finishing in Hong Kong so we hope to have him available for the rest of ours. He's an outstanding talent but he'll still have to fight for a place in our team." Oldland manager Spencer Thomas is in talks with "two or three" possible new recruits in an effort to spark his misfiring side into life. Oldland kicked off the campaign with a shock 3-0 home defeat by Wells City on Saturday before steadying up courtesy of a 1-1 midweek draw against Portishead.

Thomas stressed: "There have been too many individual errors from experienced people, but it's attacking players I'm looking at getting in."

Reserve hopefuls Ian Weston, Miles Sulyman and Lloyd Abood come into a depleted Hengrove Athletic squad as they strive to better Saturday's goalless home draw against Bridport with victory at Wells City. Defender Craig Patch remains sidelined with a knee problem. Roman Glass St George will strive to atone for Saturday's 6-2 opening-day mauling by Gillingham Town when they travel to face Odd Down.
