Entrants needed for Monte Carlo banger rally
ORGANISERS of the 2013 Monte Carlo or Bust rally are calling on petrol heads from Bristol to put together a team.
The 1,264-mile race to Monte Carlo challenges entrants to complete the journey through France, Switzerland and Italy in a banger worth less than £250.
Teams, who are encouraged to raise money for a local charity, have to take part in a variety of challenges along the way where they compete for additional points and prizes.
Some of the prizes up for grabs include trophies for the best and worst dressed teams.

The three-day rally will see over 100 British bangers visit some of Europe's landmarks and experience spectacular backdrops of sun, sea, sand and snow.
Rally spokesperson, Cuthbert Ware-Armitage, said: “I am laying down the challenge to the good people of Bristol to join me on Europe’s ultimate banger rally adventure.
“This is a brilliant opportunity to get your team into gear and experience some of the greatest roads in Europe in some of worst cars from Bristol.”
