Ellen was well known by family and friends for her delicious apple tarts, rock cakes and, at Christmas, her mince pies.
She was a terrific mother and adored her grandchildren. She was very excited at the birth of her great great grand daughter Ivy whom she met for the first time aged 94.
The last 12 months of her life she spent at Petersfield Care Home in Portishead until she was admitted to the Bristol Royal Infirmary where she passed away on October 15.
A requiem mass will be held at St Francis Catholic Church in Ash Hayes Road, Nailsea on Thursday, November 8 at 12pm.
All are welcome. This is a celebration of Ellen's life so attendants are asked not to wear black.
The mass will be followed by her cremation at South Bristol Crematorium in Bedminster Down at 2pm.
