Edwards ends with a Dings win
WINGER Sylvan Edwards ended his Dings career in style by helping his side to a bonus-point victory over Taunton.
The home side had too much power at close quarters, with front row trio Dave Hilton, Dave Wheeler and Chas Meddick causing the Somerset side problems at practically every scrum.
Dings, who secured their League Two survival last weekend, played with far more freedom and expression as a result.
Taunton only really came into the contest when Crusaders had two men in the sin bin during the second half but, by then, the writing was on the wall for the visitors.

Dings full-back Harvey Skelton opened the scoring with two penalties, befroe No 8 Vince Murrell touched down following a strong surge from a push-over scrum.
Taunton replied with two Gary Kingdom penalties, which made it 11-6 at the turnaround.
Centre Marcus Brooker's try extended Dings' lead, before Murrell claimed his second try shortly before centre Sheldon Stevens brought up the try bonus -point with his touchdown, with Skelton adding three conversions. The visitors responded with former Dings player Christian Gervais and Dave Bufton claiming tries. But Dings finished on top with skipper Stean Williams grabbing a late try, which was converted by wing Edwards.
