Editor's comment: In praise of Auschwitz survivor Michael Rehfisch
TO say he experienced a living hell is an understatement. The personal losses, the agony, the hardship and the inhumanity he endured and witnessed are beyond most of our imagin ations.
But for him to tell his story gives us an opportunity to hear first hand what he went through. When he speaks he does so not just for himself but for all those who perished in those camps to ensure that what happened is never forgotten.
