Eastville Club B, who were promoted from Division III of the Bristol & District Snooker League because of a shortage of teams, moved up to second place in Division II with a fine 4-1 win over top team Pot Black Club C.

Eastville's win puts them just half a point behind Pot Black.

Their success stems from young Declan Bristow, playing his first season in the league, who has lost only once in 13 matches, while the experienced Keith Lovell has won 11 out of 12.
