Eastenders fanbase a sign of the times
The television series Springwatch is a wonderful and compelling live nature programme which the BBC should be congratulated on.
One is amazed why only around three million viewers tune in while Eastenders, which must be the most depressing soap ever to appear on our screens, attracts around 30 million viewers.
Is this the sad reflection of the way the British public are conditioned now? The tabloids should take a leaf from the Evening Post and print some good news from time to time for a change.
