EastEnders heading to Keynsham to film crash scene
SPECULATION is growing that TV crews will be moving into Keynsham next week to film a dramatic car crash stunt for EastEnders.
It is understood the town will be the backdrop for a dramatic storyline for the hit BBC soap.

Parts of Temple Street and Rock Road will be closed overnight from Monday to Friday for the filming at The Centre, which is awaiting demolition in preparation for the £34-million town redevelopment.
Diversions will be in place between 6pm and 6am.

The BBC has not confirmed which programme the scenes are being filmed for, but sources have said that it is for an episode of EastEnders and there has also been speculation on social networking site Twitter.
The action is believed to involve a car losing control and crashing into the front of the old Peacocks store, causing a fireball. Keynsham fire station will respond to any emergencies during the filming.
Jenni Wagstaffe, film commissioner at the Bath and North East Somerset Council-run film office, confirmed the roads would be closed next week while a BBC programme was being shot in Keynsham.
She said they were working closely with the BBC press office and would be able to say more about what show it was later in the week.
She added she could not comment on the rumours.
Set in Albert Square. in the fictional London borough of Walford, the soap was first broadcast on February 19, 1985. It regularly gets more than six million viewers per episode and for the recent return of popular character Sharon, pulled in a peak figure of 8.3 million.
Last month, BBC crews also took over Corn Street in central Bristol with snow machines, horses and carts to transform the streets into 1890s London for the filming of the Doctor Who Christmas Special.
The shopping area around St Nicholas Market was transformed into a winter wonderland for the special Christmas Day episode, which will be preceded by a new five-part series due to air at the end of this month. Former Doctor David Tennant is also filming a drama in Clevedon for ITV.
Other famous programmes to have been filmed in Bristol over the years include Skins, Casualty, Only Fools and Horses and The Young Ones.
