A 25-year-old man has been assaulted in Queen Square in Bristol.

On Sunday, October 25, at around 2am, he left Chicago Rock Cafe at The Watershed and walked towards St Augustine's Parade in the city centre, where he bought a pizza.

He then walked back along The Watershed, across Pero's Bridge and into Queen Square, where he was approached from behind by three strangers.

One of them punched him in the face, damaging some teeth. He fell to the ground and the three people ran off towards Marsh Street.

Anyone who saw the incident or who has any information is asked to call police on 0845 456 7000.
