Early goal blitz sets up Mangotsfield victory
Mangotsfield United bounced back from Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Merthyr Town by beating bottom-of-the-table Bishop's Cleeve 3-0 at Cossham Street tonight in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South & West.
All three goals came in the opening 19 minutes. Ben Hunt opened the scoring in the second minute, Marcus Duharty added the second four minutes later and then Lee Marshall netted the third.
Paulton Rovers' home game with Abingdon United was postponed due to a frozen pitch, as was Yate Town's match at Shortwood United.
In the Toolstation Western League Premier Division, Bishop Sutton boosted their title hopes with a 1-0 home win against leaders Brislington.
