Driver trapped in car after fire engine crash
A driver was cut free from his car after it was in collision in Kingswood with an old fire engine used as a limousine.
The accident happened at 9pm on Friday in Two Mile Hill Road, Kingswood. The car left the road, hit a lamppost and ended up in the path of the decommissioned fire engine.
The car driver, in his 40s, was taken to hospital by paramedics, while passengers in the limousine were checked over at the scene.

“The Moderator is being very heavy -handed today. Lets try again :8
To Marc Cooper at the BEP
The site Moderator on Sunday afternoon has deleted a large number of perfectly reasoned replies to do with the Driver-hurt-crash-old-engine-Bristol article
Admittedly some were critical of the BEP Headline 'implying' the the Fire Engine was at fault, by adding 'Fire Engine' into the subject line, when it was entirely an innocent party, and the messages there were from passengers who witnessed the accident.
It is a shame that all that useful information has gone.
I've noticed it on other article Replies as well. Surely the board has been set up to allow "Free Speech" so unless there is profanity or other distasteful messaging, it should be allowed to stand.
I'm very disappointed with the Moderator's stance. (Of course it could well be the person who wrote the article, which would explain it)
