Driver killed in head-on crash with lorry on A37
A DRIVER has been killed in a head-on collision with a lorry on the A37.
The man was driving a green Ford Fiesta from the Chelwood roundabout towards Clutton at about 2pm today when the fatal crash happened.

Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman Catherine Foster said the two vehicles collided head-on on a bend.
That part of the A37 is currently still closed (6.15pm).

Miss Foster added: “We are appealing for witnesses and information following a road traffic collision on the A37 at Chelwood.
“The driver of the car died at the scene.
“We would ask urge motorists to avoid the area at this time as the road will be closed until at least 5.45pm to allow officers to carry out their investigation.”
